Decisions, decisions...the lucky streak continues!

So you know how I was on a hot streak and won two giveaways in one week? Well the other day I won a gift card to a new online boutique I've been eyeing, Kiki La Rue. It was only $10, but still...10 bucks is 10 bucks. Now, the question is, what am I going to spend it on??

Jagged Edge Top

Laguna Beach Dress

New Resolutions Top
So many decisions, or maybe I'll wait for them to get this in stock...

If you haven't checked out Kiki La Rue yet, you better soon. And make sure you like them on Facebook, they are always having tons of giveaways!

My Must Have Spring/Summer Look

Thank you to Pinterest for making me obsessed with this one look that I can't seem to have. So I am bringing it to you, awesome followers to help me out. I don't care what the trend is or what anyone says. My must have spring/summer look is lace skirts. I don't care what color it is. I want them and I can't seem to find any for under $500. Can someone point me in the right direction? This is why I love you guys.

And not just lace skirts, I'm also loving sequined skirts too (I'm just having better luck with those).

"Favorite of the Week" Link Up #16

Everything According to Erin

My favorite this week has to be my new Naked2 palette that I won the other week (see post). I have been using it non-stop and have completely neglected all my other eye makeup. I definitely still want to buy the original Naked palette (oh help me when that happens), but I'm very happy with this one.

I know it's been flying off the shelves, but ultimately people weren't completely impressed with it. It's still a great palette, but I understand where people are coming from. You just expected a little more.

Btw, this picture doesn't do it justice.

I'm definitely going to do a review on this product, but I'm currently documenting looks for you. Expect it in the next week or so!

What's your favorite of the week?

Getting Ready for Summer Skin

I know it's only February, but I'm starting get ready for that nice warm sunshine! I've been picking out my swimsuits, buying a couple sundresses AND looking into some new summer makeup.

Last year I picked up a Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick as my new bronzer and I can't wait to start using it again!

This year, I'm definitely ready to try out some new things. For instance, I've never used a liquid luminizer and now I'm dying to try one. I was checking out some of these from Sephora:

Benefit Sun Beam

Smashbox Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion

Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer

NARS Illuminator
The only luminizer I've used is my BareMinerals Mineral Veil which I'm not impressed with. I hardly use it anymore. How do you wear luminizer? Do you mix it with your moisturizer or just apply it straight to your face?

I'm also in the market this summer for a new blush! My current blush is e.l.f. Natural Radiance Blusher in Glow. I also like to use a BareMinerals blush I have as well. I'm just bored with them and ready to try something else. So I checked these out at Sephora too:

Buxom True Hue Blush in either Breathless (blushing peach) or Seduction (pop pink)

Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in Lotus Pink (warm neutral pink) or Orange Blossom (shimmering apricot with golden pink pearl)

NARS Blush in Super Orgasm (peachy pink with gold glitter) or Torrid (coral with shimmer)
Should I go with a more traditional pink or get something more coral?

Last but not least, I'm definitely going to pick up some hot new nail colors that are bright and fun for summer. I found a few I might have to splurge on:

Dior Vernis Nail Lacquer - Scented
This color is waterlily and it's scented!!
Polish with a subtle hint of roses, for real.
Betsy Johnson Too Too Scented Nail Color
It's My Pink!
Another scented nail polish, Sephora by OPI scented with Betsy Johnson's Too Too perfume
I already have enough pink nail polish, but this would be neat to try (only color currently available)
What products get you ready for summer skin?

DIY Scarf Hanger

I saw this DIY scarf organizer from Fab Fatale's blog a few weeks ago and I just knew i had to use the same idea! My closet is over flowing with scarves and I needed to organize them stat. I'm actually surprised that I found this idea on her blog and not on Pinterest which is where I expected to find it. Anyway, this is a cheap and quick DIY to organize your scarves if you are a scarf hoarder like me (I know so many of you are).

Velvet 4 Row Hangers $6.99 (pack of 2)

Shower Hooks $7.99 a piece

I was a little disappointed with the choice of shower rings at Target. I ended up getting two kinds: plain round ones for my thicker scarves and a package that was a little more decorative. I still have plenty of rings left over and plenty of room on my hangers to add more. This was super easy and just freed up tons of room in my closet. Now I can find all of my scarves! I just love DIY projects!

Have you done a DIY project lately?
