My New Favorite Leading Man

I have become a HUGE fan of Michael Fassbender. You may know him from X-Men: First Class this year, Inglourious Basterds and Jane Eyre. I, however, have been a fan since I saw him in 300 a few years ago.

I don't know what it is about him, all of my favorite leading men have similar qualities. Michael falls out of my normal favorite characteristics, but I swoon when I see him. Below are some of my favorite pics of him. Let me know what you guys think.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 - First Official Trailer

This week has been pretty exciting as far as trailers go. Yesterday I posted about the new True Blood season and today I'm showing you the new Breaking Dawn Part 1 trailer that was shown at the MTV Movie Awards last Sunday. If you haven't seen it, make sure you're sitting down. I can't wait freaking wait.

Between Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and this movie, I'm in heaven. Are you guys just as excited as I am?

Transformers: Dark of the Moon Soundtrack

A few weeks ago they released the track listings for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Soundtrack and I'm very excited hear it. Linkin Park comes through again, adding their song "Iridescent" from their recent album A Thousand Suns. Here's the track listing in case you haven't seen it.

Linkin Park - Iridescent
Paramore - Monster
My Chemical Romance - The Only Hope For Me Is You
Taking Back Sunday - Faith
Staind - The Bottom
Art Of Dying - Get Thru This
Goo Goo Dolls - All That You Are
Theory Of A Deadman - Head Above Water
Black Veil Brides - Set The World On Fire
Skillet - Alive & Awake (Remix)
Mastodon - Just Got Paid (ZZ Top cover)

Last week, Paramore streamed the song "Monster" from the album and I immediately fell in love with it. They released it yesterday on iTunes and the full album will be available on June 14.

I'm a HUGE Paramore fan and have been rocking out to the song since last week. If you haven't heard it, here it is.

What do you guys think?

6 Minutes of True Blood Season 4

HBO has released 6 minutes of the season 4 premier of True Blood and is apparently releasing another 3 minutes this Sunday as well. I can't wait to see where this season takes us. If I didn't have 5 million other books to read, I'd definitely go back to reading the Sookie Stackhouse series. So far I've only read two, but eventually I'll get to the rest of them.

In case you haven't seen the trailer for season 4, you can check it out below. I don't know about you, but I'm really excited.

Are you guys excited for True Blood to return on June 26?

Bronzer Dilemma

Since I'm starting to tan, I need to get a bronzer to help bring out the color in my face. Currently, I'm using Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips in Riviera Strip/Sand Bronzer. I love it because you can use it many ways. It of course acts as a bronzer, but you can use each individual strip as eyeshadow or combine them and use as a blush. I'm finally running low from last year and I was thinking of trying something new. I really like what I use, but I'm always happy to hear any suggestions my awesome readers have to share with me. Before you do, I did a little research and found a couple I was thinking about as well. What do you think?
Tarte Mineral Powder Bronzer

Smashbox Fusion Soft Light Bronzer

NARS Bronzing Powder

LORAC Tantalizer

Too Faced Bronzed and Beautiful

I love them all! They have great reviews on Sephora. You guys are going to have to help me choose this one.

New OPI Shatter Collection

For those of you who love OPI's Black Shatter Polish from the Katy Perry collection, you now have another 6 colors to fall in love with! Earlier last month I reviewed the Black Shatter Polish (see post) and I mentioned they have introduced a new Silver Shatter as well. This must have become really popular because everyone has some version of "shatter polish".

You now have White, Turquoise, Silver, Red, Navy and Blue to choose from. I think this is a really neat concept, but I really think it's getting a little out of control. I would probably use the turquoise or red color against a sliver base (that seems to look best). I'm all for getting a little funky with my nail colors choices, but I'd rather spend my money on some bright colors for summer. What do you guys think?

If you're looking for a cheaper product, Sally Hansen also has a "Crackle Overcoat" for about $6.99. OPI's collection is usually $8.50.

Sally Hansen offers colors in Snow Buff, Vintage Violet, Fractured Foil, Fuchsia Shock, Distressed Denim, Antiqued Gold, Cherry Smash, and Ink Splatter.

Have you tried either of these brands?

Movie Reviews: Bridesmaids and Hangover 2

My Memorial Day weekend was filled with catching up on the latest summer movies. As of now, the only movie I haven't seen so far is Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Hopefully I'll get to see that some time next week.
Saturday night I went to see Bridesmaids with some friends. At first I only went because that's what everyone was seeing, but I'm so glad I did. I was going to wait to see this movie on DVD and I'm glad I didn't. I have to say I laughed harder at this movie than I did at Hangover 2! If you haven't seen this movie yet GO SEE IT! It's hilarious! I love Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph from SNL already, but they are just so funny when they are together. This was a pleasant surprise, I can't wait to get this movie on DVD.

On Sunday night we braved the crowds and saw Hangover 2. I knew there was no way they were going to be able to top the first one, but I definitely thought this one was good. You could tell they were trying to out-do the first one because some of the jokes and scenes were so outrageous. I enjoyed it though and I'm looking forward to the un-rated version that I'm sure will come out on DVD.

Since I'm traveling this upcoming weekend, I'm not so sure I'll be able to see the next movie on my list that's opening this weekend:

But hopefully I'll get to go sometime next week.

Ulta Now Has Butter London Nail Polish

I just got the Ulta circular in the mail today and I was pleased to see they now offer Butter London lacquers. This is a product I have been dying to try. Much like Zoya nail polish, Butter London does not contain any Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP or Parabens. I can't wait to head over to Ulta to pick up a few fun colors. Maybe there's a giveaway in your future! We'll see! Here are some of the colors I'm lusting after.
Henley Regatta

Cheeky Chops

Jaffa

What are some of your faves?

Shoeapalooza

Yes, I still have many gift cards left from Christmas. I have told you guys time and time again that I don't like to spend all of my gift cards at once. My birthday is so close to Christmas so my winter wardrobe is always more plentiful than my spring/summer wardrobe. As I've gotten older, I've learned to curb my winter spending spree to save for some goodies when it gets warm.

Well I did just that last week. I got a DSW coupon in the mail for $10 off and I was like, "Why not, I've got some gift cards." Plus shipping was free if you spent over $35. Are you ready ladies? I got 3 pairs of shoes for (drum roll) $9!! Go me! Here's my haul, let me know what you think!

Rampage Nicki Pumps in Black - I needed a new basic black pump for work, my current ones were dying a slow death.

N.Y.L.A. Colbie Wedge in Black - I love, love, love these wedges/espadrilles. I definitely wanted a pair for the season and these are a cheaper version of Steve Madden Fantasik sandals (and they literally are a spitting image of them too).

Gomax Ashland Pump in Gold - As soon as I saw these I new I had to have them. I was looking for a fun new pair of heels to spice up any outfit.

Now all I have to do is head over to Payless and pick up some of the sandals they have over there (see post) and I'll be set for summer! The best part was I ordered these last Tuesday and I got them Saturday (just before the Memorial Day holiday). I had prepared myself that I probably wouldn't see them until after the holiday. Thank you DSW for great service once again!
