e.l.f. Shopping Spree Part 2

If haven't done so, check out my post yesterday about my e.l.f. Shopping Spree Part 1. After I got done purchasing mineral products for my Groupon, I saw this wonderful ad on the website for their Studio Brush Collection for $5!!! All you had to do was spend $25. So I was like, there was plenty of other products I wanted! And I really need new brushes, especially for $5! Wanna see what I got for my second order?

Here is the awesome 11 Piece Studio Brush Collection for $5

I needed some items for my Mani/Pedi's:

Matte Finisher Clear Top Coat can turn any shiny color into a matte finish (so excited to try this)

Cranberry, perfect for fall

Golden Goddess, which looked very interesting and different

Toe Separators, needed these like whoa

Next, it's all about the eyes and face:

Natural Radiance Blusher in Glow

Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara, thought I'd give it a try

Coffee Bean

Wild Wheat

I can't wait to receive all my new makeup and I especially can't wait to review it all for you guys! What do you think of my picks?

e.l.f. Shopping Spree Part 1

A few weeks ago I purchased a Groupon for $35 of e.l.f. mineral makeup for $15. So finally last week I sat down and went through the website and picked out everything I wanted. Their mineral collection isn't as large as some of their other collections so it took me sometime to go through and decide on everything I wanted. Plus their stuff is so cheap, it was taking me forever to rack up $35 of makeup (a problem I love to have).

Was very interested to try this...Blemish Kit. Acts like a concealer, but has acne fighting ingredients to treat and prevent future breakouts.

Mineral Eye Liner in Coffee, I was in dire need of brown liner

Mineral Booster in Sheer acts gently absorbs oil and minimizes the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and pores for a photo finishing touch
Mineral Eye Brightener diminishes the appearance of dark shadows

I followed that with some mineral eye shadows that I can't wait to try:

And guess what? I'm not done! Stay tuned for part 2! What do you think of my picks so far?

Product Review: Deborah Lippmann

When I used my Apothica gift card, I picked up Deborah Lippmann's Across the Universe Nail Polish (see post). I had heard really good things about this polish and I was super excited to get it. It was one of those polishes that I knew I could use to accent a color and possibly use by itself. The description noted that the glitter was in a bluish color coat, not just a clear coat. Well before I even had a chance to use it, my sister ended up trying it out. So my product review is actually from her, but I'm still really happy with my purchase. Here's what Across the Universe looked like on her:

She tested the color by itself, which was ok, but not what I was looking for. And then she tested it on 3 different color blues: a light turquoise, a teal and the navy blue. We both thought it looked best on the navy. I believe she used NYC as her navy color.

I thought it looked really good on the navy and my sister said it went on clean and dried fast. I can't wait to try this out myself and see what it looks like with different colors like grey, green or silver.

Have you used Deborah Lippman polish before? What do you think of it?

**This product was purchased by me with my own funds. This post is not sponsored by any person or company. All reviews are my own opinions and thoughts of the products.**

A New Fall Hairstyle

For those of you who have been a blog follower for a while, you have probably always seen me with long hair. I've been growing it out for a long time. With the move and so much going on, it's been a while since I'd had a haircut. I was looking for something new to do to it and I knew I had to chop off a lot of my locks because my ends were so dead. I had dyed my hair a while ago and was growing the dye out (which turned out to be the must have look of the spring go figure) so my ends were damaged. So after I found a new hairdresser, I decided a new look was definitely in order. I decided to cut off ALL of the dead ends which turned out to be 9 inches! I wanted to keep some length, but my stylist told me I'd just be in the same boat in a few months. It was best to get rid of it now and then start working on growing my hair out healthy.

Well here is the before look...

And here is the after...

Well what do you guys think? Have any of you made a big change for fall?
